Our great summery weekend!

We had an awesome weekend of just playing as a family and doing a lot of work around the house. We love summer time! Saturday we went out to Justin's mom's house and took the 4wheelers out for a ride! We had so much fun- not to mention Nevaeh who's absolutely hooked now. We also went to Green River to Justin's dad's house for a BBQ and he took me for a ride on his new HARLEY! talk about exhilarating! Sunday we worked (or should i say Justin worked) really hard in the yard getting all of our free compost from the dump tilled in. It's such a big project! But Nevaeh got a kick out of being outside and watching dad get thrashed around by the tiller! :) She also wore her Hogle zoo hat for more than 1/2 a second! :) She's just too darn cute. She's walking all over the place and picking up new words everyday. The newest is "Welcome" when she gives you something and you say thank you- hehe. So polite.
We just got home from the park- they weather is beautiful today! Just enough breeze to keep us from roasting. I never have the camera when I want it- like today! and when we do have it we always forget to take pictures. I really need to work harder on that! And I'll get some pictures posted on here this afternoon (during nap time haha). Right now I'm writing on the lap top upstairs and there aren't any pictures on here- so I have to go down in the dungeon of a basement we have to get that accomplished :)

Entering The Blogging Phenomenon!

Well- here we are! As if I don't have enough to do- I decide to start a blog- ha! It really is a great way to keep in touch with everyone and up to date on what we're doing. So here's the update! It's summer time! woohoo! We have a lot of fun things planned. Nevaeh and I are in a mom and tot swimming class. So far it's not her most favorite thing. The deal breaker was dunking her(fully submerged) with the wild instructor Ms. Cindy screaching- 1-2-3-take a breath! Nevaeh isn't such a fan of her. Theron ith us for 2 weeks each month this summer. He has big plans for riding his dirt bike, swimming, and spending lots of time with his uncle Zack. In July we are going to California to visit mom- definitely the highlight of the summer at this point! We have plans to go to Universal Studios, to the Aquarium, and of course the beach- among other things! We're also hoping to take a trip to Lava Hot Springs with dad and the crew to float the river and try out their new water slides at the pool! With a few weekend camping trips and spontaneous out of town ganders it's sure to be an eventful summer indeed! Justin is very busy at work these days. We are waiting and crossing our fingers on a new opportunity for him to work at the city fire department where the benefits and schedule are a lot more conducive to our family's crazy schedule. As for me, I'm working out at the grill scrimping every penny we can so that we can achieve our next goal after buying a house (Which we did about 8 weeks ago now!) which is getting me back to school! I can't wait for that! Otherwise- we're just taking things one day at a time and trying to enjoy all the special times we share together. I look forward to keeping this up!
